Can I make beer in fermenter whilst wet after cleaning?

Hey,

Just wondering if I am able to start making my next batch straight after cleaning with chemicals and then rinsing. So whilst the fermenter is still wet. Or do I need to wait until the fermenter is dry?

It depends on what Chemicals you are using. If you are cleaning with an Oxyclean/PBW type product, rinsing and then sanitizing with Starsan, no, you do not need to wait.

If you clean and then use a no rinse sanitiser no need to worry at all.

I still use bleach for sanitizing my gear. After a short soak I give it all a good rinse with warm water and use it wet. I figure the left-over rinse water is no different than the water I use to top-off the carboy.

Yes, just make sure it is completely rinsed clean.
