I am making a baltic porter with a 1.070 OG. I probably will ferment around 60 , but do I need to make this starter like I was making a lager?

Check Mr. Malty .com. but I always make a starter for almost any beer that I use liquid yeast for

I think he was referring to the starter size. According to Wyeast, it's NOT recommended for cold fermentation. I would think an ale or hybrid sized starter(mr.malty) would be sufficient.
