First off, Hello all. I know therehave probably been numerous threads on this strain but lets go! What are your experiences with it? What have you use it in? Opinion's? I have use it in many styles from stout and porters to IPA's and reds. I consider it one of my personal favorites. I am planning on using it to do a mild ale, just wondering if anyone has use it for this style.

I made several beers using WLP023 before I knew anything about temp control. They all had the same yeast profile that was very unappealing. Ferment LOW. If I were to use it again (you'll have to pay me to use it again) I'd ferment at 62-65F. I tried IPAs, browns, pale ales and think it'd still be good in those if fermented at the lower spectrum of ales.
