Or Yellow Jacket SMaSH? Made a SMaSH today (I cheated and used Chinook AND Centennial, so APA might be closer), and when I was cooling my wort, I found a bee. Definitely was boiled. Anyone else have this happen?
It got me thinking, will bee venom (is it venom?) ferment out? What kind of proteins will this add? If someone's allergic to bees, can they drink my beer? Finally, how do I narrow down the multitude of names this now inspires???
