Brewed a 5 gallon batch of a West Coast pale ale last Sunday.
Ingredients are
10.5# Northwest Pale Ale Malt
1.5 # Munich Malt
1/2# White Wheat
1/2# Belgian Caravienne Malt
1/2 # 20 L Caramel Malt

.375 oz Columbus pellet hops for 60
.5 oz Columbus for 20
1 oz Cascade pellets FWH
Dry hop 1 oz Chinook for 7 days.
1- 11 g packet of rehydrated BRY 97 American West Coast Ale yeast

Fermentation began about 36 hours later and has been going crazy for 6+ days, like I used a starter for liquid yeast and how it behaves 12 hours later.
I've used BRY 97 before but never seen this.
Anyone else experience this?
