I brewed an extract wheat with specialty grains already. For the last 2 minutes I added 1.5 oz of orange zest to the boil with the aroma hops. I have to say that there was a definate orange smell and flavor. It has been fermenting for just over a week now. I want to add a bit more orange and vanilla into a secondary.

One great suggestion I was going to follow was to allow whole vanilla bean and some orange zest soak in just enough vodka to cover it all for about a week. Then, dump it into the secondary. I was going to split the pod and take out the seeds and cut up the pod and soak it all. I would do this with another 1-1.5 ounces of orange zest.

Anyone have any thoughts?
How many vanilla beans should i use? They were $14 for 2!!!
