Hi, I'm Tim. I grew up in WI, went to school in upper MI and ended up in CA for the past couple years. I've brewed two beers so far and am excited to get more experience. I made an Amber kit from my LHBS and then an ESB from a recipe off of here, both extract with steeping grains. I'm looking to do a partial mash recipe in the next couple months and a gluten free recipe for my gluten-intolerant wife.

My plan is to get an 8 gallon pot so I can start doing full boils and some all grain recipes with DeathBrewer's stove top method. I'll probably spend my money first on some insulation and a big bucket to make a fermentation chamber in the bottom shelf of my pantry. It'll be cheaper than spending $300 a month on air conditioning in southern california heat.
