Does anyone have experience with the kettles made by Brewer's Best? I haven't seen them anywhere before today. The price looks pretty good and it comes with welded fittings and stamped volume markings. My goal is to upgrade to a kettle that I can brew 5 gallon BIAB over a propane turkey fryer.

Some other options I'm considering are SS Brewtech, BrewBuilt, and Spike:

SS Brewtech (https://www.morebeer.com/products/ss-brewtech-stainless-steel-brewing-kettle-15-gal.html)

BrewBuilt (https://www.morebeer.com/products/stainless-steel-brewbuilt-brewing-kettle.html)

The 10 gal. brewbuilt kettle that I got 5 years ago is holding up great. I like that the notched lid lets you cover the kettle with the immersion chiller in it. A sanitized rag over the opening prevents anything from getting in there during cooling. You just have to make sure the threads are dry when you go to store it, otherwise they will get rusty, which was hard to clean up. Now I just make sure they are dry and put some twisted papertowel in them so they stay dry and rust free. Hope that helps you out!

Thanks for the info! I really like the idea of their notched lid. How have the volume markings held up over time? Have you ever scrubbed them with bar keepers friend or any harsh cleaner? I was leaning towards the BrewBuilt unitl I saw the stamped(?) volume markings on the Brewers Best kettle

The markings are still like new. When I got it, I scrubbed it up with Barkeepers friend and at the end of a brewday I clean with a scrub pad thats made for stainless steel and a gallon of warm water in the pot with a couple glugs of CLR.
