I admit it. I have never cared for BIAB, largely because I must suck at it. I make a mess, I have issues with temp control, and so on.
Recently, Rex from The Brew Bag contacted me to become a sponsor for the 2015 BrewUnited Challenge, then talked me into trying one of his cooler bags as a fabric filter for my mash tun. I did everything else as normal - batch sparge, etc - simply with the bag lining my cooler.
