Got an hour or so of maint issues to finish before lighting the flame. Cya round 9. I'll do photos as we go, by all means load up you own brewday shots, its not my brew day, its our brewday. Brew strong my bruthas n sisters! BM's Centennial Blonde on deck!

Alright, you got me motivated. I'm breaking out my gear and getting my starter going on my stir plate ASAP. Time to dig through Dick's Picks and gets some tunes cued up. Maybe get this party started tomorrow morning. I'm going Imperial Red Ale.

No, no, no. Today is bottling day. Tomorrow is brewing day. Have to get to LHBS for priming sugar and tomorrow's grain bill. Have fun brewing today, hope your OG is where you want it at the end. :)

My first decoction mash, I hit my first rest temp which surprised me. I figured something would go horribly wrong in the beginning. Half an hour until I pull the next decoction.

Nice to see other Heads on the board. By the way I brewed that centennial blonde last Sunday morning. It's fermenting nicely and first samples taste great. Enjoy!

Checking back in a little late, got hectic this morning until coffee kicked in. New herms working great. Holding a perfect 150. Crappy phone pics right now, i'll load up some hi-res stuff later

Running the pump constantly via the herms has my mash clear as a bell already. F'ing awesome.

Just thought this might be a good place to mention that I have named my "brew operation" Daankbar Brewing. Daankbar is Flemish for Grateful...

Coffee while brewing on a Saturday? I say a breakfast stout should be involved!

Dude thats sweet AND I learned something new...lol

Here's where I ended up;

Estimated Pre-Boil gravity .033 I ended up at .031
Estimated OG was .047 I ended up at .043
I was shooting for 80% efficiency, ended up at 77%
ABV will still end up at 4% just like it called for.

Damn fine day
