I'm putting together a CIP rig for my S.S. conical. The easiest/cheapest way for me to connect to the pond pump I plan to use is with a Brass garden hose fitting. Question for the metalurgists out there: Any issues with recirculating the cleaning solution through the brass fitting and into the stainless conical? I'm thinking about trace metals carried by the water and embedding in the stainless, and really have no idea if this a valid concern or not. TIA!
ETA: I should mention that I plan to use PBW.
