I'm looking to start homebrewing, can someone direct me where to buy the best equipment. I'm a 22 year old Law Student and not a lot of funds but quality is a must.... Thanks everyone, sorry if I put this in the wrong section

I would suggest that you try to use a local shop if there is one in your area. It's always nice to establish a relationship locally. If that is not an option here is a thread which lists a lot of online vendors. https://www.homebrewtalk.com/showthread.php?t=701
I would also suggest that you purchase a book on brewing. You need to learn how the process works.

It's a great hobby, passion or obsession. Take your pick.

Usually the starter kits will run you ~100 bucks, an ingredient kit will be in the 40 dollar range for an extract kit. I too would suggest picking up a book, and reading first. Then from there, you'll have a better understanding of the process, and when you come here, you can ask all the questions that you already know the answers to, but are looking for confirmation on (that's what I do)... and probably get the "RDWHAHB" answer (relax, don't worry, have a home brew).

Local Home brew supply store would be your best bet. Usually they have books and whatnot there as well, so you can make it a 1 stop shop.

Good luck, and happy brewing
