So, I've been making a bunch of those 'brewhouse' wort-in-a-bag style kits. I have a general question about bottle conditioning.
The beer goes into the bottle crystal clear. I bottle condition it for at least 2 weeks but some of my beers are a couple months old. When they go in the fridge they get what I think is chill haze and is supposed to not affect the taste, but it does. I would describe it as a grassy or medicinal or sharp kind of taste and aroma. It's not pleasant and it stands out from the other flavors.
However if I leave the beer in the fridge for a while eventually it goes crystal clear again and that off taste is gone.
Has anyone else experienced something like this?
