Boiling pilsen malt extract

I'm doing a partial mash and need to add Pilsen dried malt extract. Does Pilsen malt extract need to be boiled for 90min like Pilsen malt to remove DMS? I'm guess not, but thought I would check.

It wouldn't hurt to make sure any DMS is gone?

More than likely it was blown off when the extract was made at the maltser, but like KoedBrew said, it wouldn't hurt to do it.

I usually do a late addition, but just to be safe I will add it at the beginning.
