I found a used beverage air on Craigslist $250 with 2 co2 tanks and regulator. It cooled fine but the tower and faucet was garbage. I next found a 4 tap "t" tower also on Craigslist with crappy faucets $75, but the shanks and tower were great. So I cleaned up the rust on the inside of the kegerator and ordered some stainless perlicks from adventures in homebrewing along with new hoses. $175. Total of about $500.It will comfortably fit 4 kegs with a co2 tank, reg, and manifold. The tower cooler hose was garbage and too big to fit along with the 4 beer lines. So I rigged up a 1/2" copper run and tied the beer lines to it in order to keep the lines in the tower cool. The copper is cool and blows air to the top of the tower. I re-used the spring like connection from the original hose and started with a 3/4" to 1/2" reducer. Then I loose fit 1/2" copper fittings and the foil type tape for hvac to make the connections. No need to solder, just keep them aligned so the tape is more than adequate. I also t'd it inside the tower to get colder air to the outside shanks. The next part will be building it into a bar. Forgot to add that the 4 tap tower does not match the same holes from the factory so I had to drill new holes in the bottom of the tower in order for it to fit. I didn't want to drill new holes through the top of the fridge in case I want to return it back to a single round tower.
