Black and Tan

So this past weekend I wanted to try my hand at making a black and tan. Researched on how to pour a little bit and bam


Perfect. (Sorry it's sideways)

Anyways after that pour I was unable to recreate the separation every one turned into a mixture of the beer. I only used a regular spoon for all of my pours.

Any suggestions on how to make myself better at this?

Get a bar spoon or a giuness black and tan kit. It comes with what they call a lager head which is a turtle looking thing that sets just down in the glass and with the right pour from you it turns out perfect every time. It also has a bottle opener on it.

I have the perfect black & tan and love it. It makes a perfect pour every time. Never tried the turtle though.

I made this years ago with my LagerHead. it was my Bourbon Imperial Stout & Braggot. they were good, but after a few of them I was a little buzzed for some reason...

Yes, the turtle looks like a turtle lol. Never saw the perfect black and tan before. I'd give it a shot too looks like it accomplish the same task.
