So I have been a big fan of better bottles since I started brewing. Typically after a brew, I let the carboy soak in hot water and some one step to break apart the krausen that stuck the top of the carboy. I have noticed that with my last batch, after rinsing out the one step, there are a bunch of little specks of something *inside* the BB! I think its leftover one step. I have seen this before and ignored it, but this could of been the reason my last better bottle started to taste funny. Anyone notice this with their BBs? I should note that I have very hard water. I have heard vinegar will help rinse out problems with oxyclean particulate, but that one step shouldn't need it.
Any suggestions would be great!
