I use a 70 qt coleman extreme cooler as my mash tun. I was wondering if anyone has added a bulkhead for a thermometer like some brew kettles have. If so, is it an accurate way to keep and eye on your temps? If so where is the best place to install and how far does the thermometer stick into the tun? I'm looking for a better way to measure my temps and If I don't have to open the lid all the better.
