I want to back sweeten my Cider and I have a 5 gallon batch. fermentation is complete and my FG reading was .098. What I was wondering is what is a good ratio for a sweet cider when back sweetening? I guess I dont fully understand this process and I dont know what I should use to back sweeten. I was thinking about using the same apple juice that I used to make the cider. Would that work? I plan on bottle carbing and then heat pasturizing to kill off the yeast when I reach the right carbanation.

Thanks Andy

Apple juice concentrate. 4-7 12 oz cans. Add 4 cans to bottling bucket. Rack cider. Stir gently and taste. Add more if needed.

Thanks for the information. Im really excited to get my cider bottled and im even more excited to taste it!
