Say someone had been drunk and lazy and decided to add some extra Candi syrup to a conical fermenter but couldn't be bothered to do it properly and just poured it in as a thick heavy syrup which sunk to the bottom and it was obviously still sitting down there in syrup form as evidenced by samples, hypothetically, would that bea problem or would it suit itself out?
Hypothetically such an idiot could drain it off mix it again and repitch but potentially said idiot might be obsessive about oxygen not getting into anything...

Tell your friend to use a drill-powered stirring tool. It fits through the 3/8" hole in a stopper, so oxygen ingress should be minimal while stirring (degassing should cause positive pressure).

I would just leave it alone. Too much risk of oxidation and Im sure the yeast will chew the sugars eventually.
