So I harvested my Cascade and Centennial already, just waiting on my Columbus. They appear ready visually, but they still feel quite "wet".
I'm not sure if that is just because the cones are very compact.
These Columbus have a much more dense cone than those of the Cascade and Centennials I already picked, and the Columbus smell the most pungent of the three.

I grow Columbus and find them to be my favorite. They are much more resiny than Cascade and Centennial so don't worry about that. If they are papery sounding and have that pungent smell I say pickem!

I can see some brown in them on the tips so normally ready or very close at that point. So they dont have the papery crunch feel/sound to them yet?
