According to the manufacturer, Kerry of Fermcap and Whirlfloc fame, Biofoam:
► Improves natural foam
► Enhances cling
► Stabilises foam by protecting against:
- glassware detergents
- food traces
- lipstick
- raw material lipids

Midwest supplies sells 10 grams for $2.50, which should be good for 50 gallons of beer. 25 cents per keg for better head retention sounds tempting, but I never use Midwest Supply, and find it hard to justify the shipping.
I am very happy with Fermcap and Whirlfloc, and I get the idea that most of the members here like them.
Searching the forums returns 0 results for "biofoam". I am curious if anyone is using it (or willing to admit to using it (would it be considered cheating if you add it to the keg if your finished beer is showing crappy head retention before you bottle for a competition?)).
If no one has any experience, I am willing to order some and add it to a keg when it is half empty, to compare pictures of pints poured before and after.
