Anyone tried Kent System couplings?

I've installed a few on my water filter and immersion chillers.

They're really nice fittings. Easy to use and they don't leak.

The only real downside I see is the ID of the fittings ... 9/32", about the same as a 3/8" hose barb.

Wow, thanks for the input. I assume those are the 1/2" couplings. I would expect to lose the same amount from a polysulphone (which includes the internal crosshatch) so I think I can live with that.

I noticed there were 2 o-ring choices, internally lubed and not, at least that was a choice on the Kent site. I plan on using the fittings that do not have the internal shutoff.

I went with the 1/2" NPT male and 3/8" female barb fittings. All of the Kent fittings at my LHBS have the same size connection; only the barb sizes differ.
