Anyone have a recipe for a Stag Clone... (southern Il, South East Mo Beer)

Just wondering if anyone had a recipe for a Stag clone... Stag was a hugely popular beer in Southern Illinos and South East Missouri... I can rember stealing sips off my grandad and uncles as a boy... I can find it canned somtimes, never in bottles and people would laugh if I ever asked for it on tap... But anyways just wondering if someone might have had it as a youngster and tried to recreate it... If so please help and information would be great... Thanks..

Have you ever had success in creating this ?
