Put it all together on June 1st. Almost one gallon of pineapple and mango juice, about 12 oz of agave nectar and a full 5 oz packet of this stuff https://www.northernbrewer.com/products/safcider-5g.
Come 5 days later there doesn't appear to be any fermentation activity. I ask the guy who sold it to me and he says that it's probably done fermenting. I check the gravity reading and it is actually reading less than 1.00 after an initial reading of somewhere around 1.10 I think. I can't believe my eyes. Anyone else have a similar experience????

What was the temp?
I like Safcider, but my experience has been must slower. But also the temps were in the 60s.

Most likely yes. The warmer, faster ferments often stress the yeast, so they produce odd flavors that have to age out, hopefully, over time.
