No., I haven't. You'll get some molasses flavor, which I personally wouldn't want for a pale beer. But I'm not drinking it.

Thanks for the response, I follow Craig's channel on YouTube, that's where I got the idea from just wanted some input on how it compares to using table sugar or dme
 
DME would be my first choice, as you'd get a better malty taste. Better body. More expensive, of course. You could always use some of one, some of another.
 
I have a Pilsner going right now that has 2lbs golden light dme and 500g table sugar for a little extra bump on the abv it's cold crashing right now
