Welcome back Pappy!
I have a unique advantage. I work a lot in hexadecimal, which is base 16. In hex, I'm only 30 years old.
Passedpawn correctly followed the clues.
On to the next. But whose?
Apparently I failed that one
Somebody answer and bring on more fun.
Well LRB,
I only believe in one flag waving country. The post you wrote LRB, made that clear to me

Ah, now I see. America or the flag is not it
But not all to far off of the answer that fits
Its better than arguing with a toddler was

"Because" ??
Is that what you say

Lol. I thought maybe it we were sexting like the kids do these days.
The answer to the riddle and your post crossed ways
In case the homebrew made it unclear
I think its your turn to post a riddle here

My poor attempt to make this one rhyme
Harder than the riddle and took a long time
There once was a six digit number
The tens digit two more than the previous brother
The third one in line is two digits behind, the second number
The third one in line is the same as the 1K this time
Ten thousands digit is two more in kind than his previous brother
The last in line the 100K kine is two less the 10K this time.
So what are the digits we fidget?
Seems like there should be one more clue. You've got 6 digits but only 5 clues. For example, 131131 and 242242 both seem to fit the clues. I think there are 7 variations here what would work. OTOH, it is a riddle, so maybe I just am not getting it
With great respect, PP your answer is correct
I think there are six clues, the fourth line counts as two
The third one in line is the same as the 1K this time
As far as variations go, I don't know
I stopped at three between you and me
The pattern seems to support ten variations my friend.
(disclaimer, maybe I screwed up the riddle when I poorly attemtped to make a rhyme out of it. I had it wrote out on a peice of paper that I can't find now. But I do remember going over it a few times to check for mistakes and didn't come up with any. It's just a repeating pattern based on the first digit of the six)
Aha now I see's
Only 7 possibilities
A
B=A+2
C=B-2
D=C
E=D+2
F=E-3
one ten 100 1k 10k 100k
A B C D E F
1 3 1 1 3 1
2 4 2 2 4 2
3 5 3 3 5 3
4 6 4 4 6 4
5 7 5 5 7 5
6 8 6 6 8 6
7 9 7 7 9 7
8 10 8 8 10 8
9 11 9 9 11 9
EDIT
0 2 0 0 2 0
haha, look familiar?

Same backwards and forward. Pretty sure this only took you a few moments to figure out but not me. I was thinking strings on a guitar and was wrong about that too.
They're not even similar:
EADGBE Every Adult Dog Growls Barks Eats
this has been fun but I think I'm done..
Next Up!
Ha, it's a palindrome. My favorite palindrome:
A man, a plan, a canal: Panama!
Alright, I'll try to come up with something unique. If anyone else has a riddle, don't wait on me to post mine
