Southeast Kansas, a stones throw from Big Brutus
Hello all, I figured I had better sign in first before I started asking questions. I have been lurking around here for a few weeks, sponging all the info I could from the people here, before I started brewing. I live in southeast Kansas and don't know any brewers personally to bug for info, so you fit the bill. We don't have a LHBS closer than 2 hours away, so the web is where I will get most of my supplies. My first batch has been in the primary for 10 days. My first brew might not have been the smartest choice for a virgin, but what the heck, I did a clone of Stones Ruination IPA, Not for the weak at heart. So far no major issues.
Well, enough for now. Dale

Many people start with a big IPA, don't know why. :mug: If you are working with a kit, there shouldn't be any problem. The simple fact that it is still in the fermenter at ten days, indicates you have absorbed one of the most important concepts of homebrewing.
