I saw a recipe that the author claimed was extract. His 1st ingred was 12 lbs of American 2 row, isn't that grain? How can it be an extract recipe then or am I just totally missing something.

12 lb of 2-row would definitely be an all grain recipe.

Probably just a typo on the author's part.
