Air regulators good for CO2?

Uncle sam's stimulus just got me a chest freezer and ranco temp controller which is currently keeping my IPA cool. I was planning out the gas lines to use up to 5 kegs when I got to thinking about manifolds and secondary regulators.

Will a small air regulator work with Co2 instead of shelling out $$$ for a true Co2 regulator?

AFAIK, when I was doing research into doing CO2 injection in a fish tank, CO2 is fairly corrosive, so if you do use an air regulator, don't be surprised if it falls apart eventually.

regulators are cheap. check sci surplus. link is somewhere on here.

I was going to ask a similar question about Oxygen Regulators. I have access to a good one, and was wondering if it was OK to use for C02
