adding basil to a beer

I am asking for an amount of basil to add to a lemon grapefruit wit I brewed. I will be racking to the secondary on monday. Seeing if anyone has any experience with this.

When I'm not sure of amounts of ingredients like basil to add, I make a tincture and add to taste at bottling or kegging.

Can't give specifics but a friend entered a basil based beer into a competition and won a 1st place medal in Charleston, SC last month. Obviously it makes good beer flavor.
