added 1/4 cup dme when i racked into the secondary

yeah it seamed like a good idea so the yeast would make c02 and it would fill the head space. what could happen wrong guys? yes i have a 3 piece airlock and bung on the glass carboy.let me know what u guys think
 
unboiled dme is not really a good thing to ferment, but you only added a little. It was a chance to add some baddies to your brew, though. Most likely, it will hurt more than help, but fear not.
 
Most likely your beer is still fermenting in the secondary anyway and so adding malt just to fill the head space is not necessary. I would suggest always boiling your malt before adding it.
 
also when transferring to a 2ndary, any slight bump in temperature will cause the beer to release some c02, filling that headspace, which is why you still need an airlock .
