A brand new brewer from southern Ohio

Hello everybody,

I am a huge fan of beer drinking and I've recently decided to get into beer making. I have tried, and enjoyed, many hobbies throughout my life. This has been one of the few that I know I will be working on and obsessing over for many, many years. I just finished my very first batch of beer and it has been an incredibly awarding experience.

I brewed an extract black IPA from northern brewer. It turned out as good, if not better, than one of my favorite commercial beers of this style. :rockin: I can't wait to get into all grain.

It's an awesome hobby...I also was amazed that homebrewed beer could be as good or better than the commercial varieties. Welcome aboard!

I just opened my first bottle of a Bells Two Hearted Ale recipe that I got directly from Bells.
Wow! I will be brewing this again!
