So after 6 months of getting 68% and 70% efficiency. I just got 78% efficiency on my last 2 brews! I now crushing my own grain. (Which I think is helping a little.) The main thing I am doing differently is watching my mash temps and times alot better. And learning how to use Beer Smith better to get my volumes and temps. So I really think it has a lot to do with refining my techniques and understanding them better. I am really pleased!!!!! Oh and a bonus!!! I am using the yeast I harvested. Which is going crazy already after 24 hours!!!
