I have a lead on a 50 qt stainless steel (I know 50 qt is kind of a weird size) at what I think is a good price (just under $100). it's 304 and 1.0 mm thick. fair price? is it gonna be big enough for 5 gal AG?

I've decided I want a stainless kettle so I don't want to hear anyone say you can get an aluminum this or that for this price. Thanks

It's an ok price, not a steal. Won't give you much room to move up to 10 gallon batches without squeezing it in. Fine for 5 gallons though. You can find 60qts for $110 plus shipping.

Can you point me toward the 60 qt kettle. Truth be told I'd find that size more appropriate. a little under $100 puts it on my burner. that being said I could see spending an extra $30 or so for the right kettle
