hI have been thinking about using them since I can get some for free. They smell like plastic inside but a little vinegar helped that. I am gonna use them for wine I think since beer usually foams alot which I didn't have that happen with wine. I was wondering if the built in handle would effect fermentation since the shape is kinda weird. Any input?

The handle shouldn't affect fermentation. Might be hard to clean, but nothing a good oxiclean soak won't handle (no pun intended).
