I have a 35# CO2 tank left over from my paintball days. The tank has an anti-siphon tube installed.

2 Questions....

Is this tank OK to be hooked up to a keg via a regulator?

Is it possible to use my old 22oz cylinders as a portable CO2 source for picknics and such?

Thanks!:mug:

1. I don't see any reason why not, although I don't know what an anti-siphon tube is.

2. Yes.

As long as the tank is used in the position the anti-syphon was setup for, you will be fine. Since it has an anti-syphon on such a large tank, I assume it was installed because the tank was not going to be used in the upright position? (otherwise you shouldnt have needed one)

I would imagine that your 35# tank has a siphon dip tube. The anti siphons are for the small tanks (20oz) because they are meant to keep the co2 out. I worked at a paintball store for years and that is what we had.
