Stopped brewing, so i'm selling my custom keezer.
Started with a 10 cu. ft. Magic Chef freezer. Added a 6" collar, tiled/grouted top, and painted the freezer flat black with Rustoleum truck bed liner. Two stainless steel drip trays mounted under the taps. Freezer looks great and was finished so it would look good in my living room instead of having to be hidden away in a basement or garage.
Includes 3 taps, shanks, nuts, tail pieces, beer line and pin lock keg connections. Custom tap handles made from spice jars filled with different grains.
There is a PC fan wired up inside to circulate the cool air.
Freezer interior dimensions are 18 3/4" X 23 1/2" where the kegs would fit. plus extra space on the hump that will fit a 5-gallon tank w/ regulator.
Freezer runs great. Temp is controlled currently via the built-in thermostat using the method described in this HBT thread. https://www.homebrewtalk.com/showthread.php?t=249612 Keezer holds right around 42 degrees!
I also have a cheap temp controller wired up that I will include.
There are some superficial rust stains on the interior floor from a steel CO2 tank I used. Other than that it's clean and ready to go!
Little bit of a carpentry goof in the last pic. I always meant to go back and replace that trim piece, but once I had some things on top you couldn't really see that part.
