Recently upgraded to 10 gallon batches and thus, 20 gallon pots.

I purchased these last year and had them drilled to accommodate an ULWD heating element, bulkhead dip tube, and sightglass (all weldless).

I'd like to sell the kettles only, since I plan on reusing the other components. I am asking $75 each + shipping or best offer.

PM if interested.

*PHOTOS BELOW SHOW THE KETTLE WITH OTHER COMPONENTS, ONLY THE KETTLE IS FOR SALE*

Yes that is my plan. I would be happy to share a list and cost of the components I used as a starting point for someone interested in the kettles.

I figured it would be better for everyone this way cause they could build it to suit their needs vs. mine.

Yeah I would consider including them but cost would change. PM for more details if that is what you are looking for..

That would be great if you list the components you used. I would like to build something like you have, thanks!

Are those the 11gal Bayou classic? With single ply bottom?
If so, FWIW, they currently sell for $86 including shipping from wayfair.com. Which makes $75 plus shipping a bit steep.

Hole Sizes:
Bulkhead = 7/8" (Front)
Heating Element = 1 1/4" (Left)
Sightglass Hole = 9/16" (Bottom Left 45')
Sightglass Hole = 1/4" (Top Left 45')

Components used:
1/2" SS Quick Disconnect - Male x 1/2" NPT Male - bargainfittings ($8)
1/2" NPT SS 3 piece ball valve - bargainfittings ($18)
Weldless Bulkhead with Integral 5/8" Dip Tube - brewhardware ($36)
Weldless Sight Tee - No Thermometer - brewhardware ($27)
1/4" MPT 6" long BCS-460/462 Temperature Sensor - brewershardware ($22)
5500W ULWD Heating Element - ebrewsupply ($175)

For those who have inquired about purchasing the kettles as is the cost would be:
Kettles = $150
Hardware = $222
Elements = $350
Total = $722

If you consider the cost of the knockout punches to put in the larger holes and the step bit for the smaller this is a very good deal.

See for yourself:

Obviously if people wanted to just buy the pots and put in their own holes they could find comparable costs elsewhere.

Am I missing something or did you overpay about 150$ for you element?

Nope. That is just the element, you still need to buy everything else. You can build them for cheaper, but are still looking for about ~$80-90ea for everything done the right way. I tried building my own, but after having issues tripping the GFI, I said screw it and just bought professionally built ones. Again, wrench vs hammer.
