Brewed last night and everything went pretty smooth. Decided to throw the priming sugar in the boil as I was hoping to up alcohol level instead of wasting it since I keg. Bubbling really nice in primary but has a nice banana smell coming from airlock. I simply leaned close and smelled it. Temp was about 72 when I checked on it this morning. Went into primary at 10pm last night. I have it at 68-69
right now. Everything should be fine right? OG was 1.048

Sounds like it's going well. Just wait about 3-4 weeks before you bottle or keg it.

Nope.

In this case it is even less needed because you want some yeast left over in the beer when you are done anyway for witbier's.
