1st stage bucket.... whats the best way to clean?

I know im not suppose to use nothing sharp to clean it. I want to make sure i get it clean, It smells like old beer and I'm nervous to brew again with it. What's the best way to tackle this? Thanks

I use oxyclean and let it soak overnight.

any soap without scent will work fine and a clean cloth. Your bucket is plastic so it will pick up a stain and a smell of old beer that's normal.
