Entry registration for the 12th Annual New England Regional Homebrew Competition (http://nerhbc.brewcomp.com/) hosted by Brew Free or Die (http://bfd.org/) will open tomorrow Friday, September 1, 2017 5:00 PM, EDT. Please visit http://nerhbc.brewcomp.com/ to submit your entries. This competition is a Master Championship of Amateur Brewing (MCAB) Qualifying Event and has a limit of 450 entries.

Thank you to all of our generous sponsors (http://nerhbc.brewcomp.com/index.php?section=sponsors) for making this event such a success. This is a BJCP sanctioned competition whose proceeds benefit the New Hampshire Food Bank (our event site sponsor) and the American Cancer Society. Last year we donated a record $4,000 due to the generosity of our sponsors and 450 entrants.

New this year is our New England Brewer of the Year Award sponsored by Great North Aleworks in Manchester, NH. Only brewers that reside in New England (NH, ME, MA, VT, CT and RI) will be eligible for this award. The winner will be calculated based on their medal places won across all of the beer, mead and cider categories. And here is the prize!

- Private tour of Great North Aleworks in Manchester, NH
- Brew a 20 barrel batch of the scaled-up winning recipe at the brewery
- Lunch and participation in a weekly Quality Assurance panel
- Invitation to packaging day (kegs and cans)
- Invitation for the winner and up to 3 fiends for the official beer release
- 2 complimentary cases of the canned beer

Many thanks to Rob and Lisa North of Great North Aleworks for donating this fantastic prize!

Cheers and good luck to all of our brewers, meadmakers and cidermakers!
