Hey all,
So, I've decided to brew a Bavarian Doppelbock and to do so I'm on my way to making a large starter with Bavarian Lager Wyeast ACT2206.
My question is this, I'm ready to step it up, but the yeast is two different colors, white on the bottom, and darker on top. Is this normal? I couldn't see what the yeast looked like before I pitched it because it was a smack-pack.
Help me Beero's! (beer hero's)
