Calling all Seattle area HBT'ers!

Tuesday, January 6th at Naked City Taphouse we will be tapping the first keg in Big Al Brewing's Local Hero Series

The first beer in the series is a Doppelbock by local homebrewer Kevin Davey.

Come on out and support Big Al, Kevin and the homebrew community.

Festivities will begin at 7:00 pm.

From Big Al's website:
Everyone at big al brewing is a homebrewer. To honor our fellow homebrewers we are planning a quarterly rotating tap called Local Hero. This will be a beer made from a Homebrewer's recipe, brewed with assistance from the Homebrewer. Al and the rest of the crew is busy thinking up clever ways to select the lucky brewers.

I want to make sure that this gets seen again. This is a great way to support the local homebrewing community and we are honored that Big Al chose Naked City as the venue to roll out the first beer in his Local Hero series.

Come by on Tuesday and support Big Al and homebrewer Kevin Davey. Also, see how you could become the next Local Hero!

Update from Big Al's website:

Like many professional brewers, Big Al got his start brewing beer in his garage and sharing it with friends and family. It is estimated that more than 1 million Americans enjoy the art of homebrewing. The art of creating beer at home IS the heart of the craft beer industry and we would like to pay tribute to the craftsman who make beer what it is today, the craftsman who inspire the beers we all enjoy regularly. This is why we are collaborating with a lucky homebrewer 4 times a year to deliver to you Local Hero. A beer that is formulated by a homebrewer, then scaled up and brewed on our system here at Big Al Brewing. This beer will be distributed to local pubs and beer bars for you to enjoy. Youíre welcome!

Our first Local Hero, Kevin Davey, is a friend of Big Alís and has put together a dopplebock the we just had to get in your hands. Please join us at Naked City Taphouse Tuesday, January 6th at 7pm for the release of this special beer. Big Al & crew will be there as well as Local Hero Kevin Davey so come join us at a great venue, for a great time not to be missed by anyone who appreciates what craft beer is today. Cheers!

If you were a little closer than 3150 miles, I'd be so there.

I hope business is good

Harvest Moon brewpub recently did this and members of the Whales swept the competition. They're actually going to brew a 10BBl batch of Braggot.
Welcome to I love you.
