I have a recipe that tells me to add raspberries when I move the bear to secondary.

When should I move the beer to a secondary container?

Or can I just add the raspberries in the main fermenter?

Either way if you are not going to leave it there for a long aging. If you use a secondary transfer after you have reached final gravity.

I recently did a raspberry saison. I racked it to secondary on top of the fruit two weeks after pitching. Two weeks is pretty much my standard wait time for most of my beers before racking to secondary or kegging if I'm not racking to 2*.
