So the next piece of the 1bbl BIAB brewery now that I have the fermenters and ordered the hosehead last night is something to hold the 45 gallon pot while brewing.

Ideally the shorter the better since my 45 gallon pot is pretty tall so the lower the stand/table will make it easier to access the top of the pot. Something around 24" x 24" wide and deep and on wheels would be ideal. I could then roll it in and out of the closet that I ideally would store it in. Finding something that comes close to all that AND be able to hold 500lbs is not easy. I have a call into a welding shop about getting something custom fabbed but I'd like to find alternatives in case it's too pricey.

So what are you all using or have thoughts and ideas of using?

try Harbor Freight I use one of their lift tables that I added bigger wheels to works fantastic!

I thought of that but I'd like something not as long and closer to 24" x 24" but if I can't find something reasonable that's my plan B.

Why bigger wheels?

I have been researching a 24 x 24 low profile also. Best bet (no-weld) so far has been a unistrut frame and casters.

My brother in law and I have a similar build. For our stand, we built a "coffee" table out of SYP 2x8s, about 28" deep and double the width of our 55gal barrel. It sits on 3-4" casters and the overall height is around 14". This gave us plenty of room to hoist the bag out of the kettle using a game hoist attached to the ceiling joists. This isn't the finished product, but should give you an idea. We bored 3" holes through the vertical boards as well, so that we could run wiring/hoses/etc through the stand. Try an equipment stand from webrestaurant store and cut the legs down to get the height you need.

Went with a 24" x 24" SS table from webrestaurant store. Its 32" high but I balked at their $40 cut off fee and $70 casters. I'll cut the legs myself and I got casters on Amazon for $52. The table was $80 shipped top shelf holds 700lbs and bottom shelf holds 500. Casters support 200lbs a piece. I shoot a pic when I get it all assembled.
