Anybody used this lager yeast before? I'm getting a really strong sulfur/egg smell off the primary. Everything I've read says don't worry, this happens with lager yeasts and the sulfur will get consumed in secondary. But man, it's disconcerting.
I ran the primary around 62 and secondary around 50. It's a tad higher than the recommended temps. There was some sulfur off-taste at bottling time, but it cleaned up with a decently long bottle-conditioning.What temp are you running for primary? I have read conflicting posts on S23 and off flavors.
