Speidel recommends no liquids warmer than 140F go into their fermenters while pbw recommends water above 140F to do its job the most efficiently. What to do here? Can't warm water be enough with a soft sponge for cleaning? Cheers

I think it would do a fine job under 140°. I use it to clean sweat stains from golf visors and shirts that are dry clean/delicate/cold water only. I'll throw a siphon hose or auto siphon in the sink while it's in there too... anyone wanna beer trade?
