hey guys, I'm about a week in into my bucha brewing and I noticed the new baby scoby started to develope mold on top. The mother scoby which sunk to the bottom has not developed mold. So my question is, do I have to throw away the mother scoby? I know I have to throw away the tea but if the mother has no mold does she have to go to.?

Are you certain it's mold? If it's not hairy, I'd let it go.
