I started a batch of welches wine 4 days ago using apple/cherry concentrate.
I am very new to this ( 2nd batch ) and the color has changed drastically. It started off an almost redish purple and is now what I can describe as pale tomato juice. Is this just the yeast clouding the juice? The gasses coming off of it smell good and I used yeast nutrient and pectic enzyme as in yoopers recipe.

Yes, the wine color will change.

I make a tomato wine, out of red tomatoes, and it comes out golden as the red color drops out of it with the pulp. Your wine will probably be slight pink when it's done, or even lighter.

This is what apple cherry will look like...
